Bonnie Hansen Rybicki is the founder of THECUSTOM EVENT. She is an eighteen-year veteran in the meeting and event production industry. Bonnie has utilized her creative background and vast resources to produce stunning live event platforms including business theatre,themed events and interactive entertainment. Her many repeat clients have noted her attention to detail and intriguing conceptual designs.
In 1996, Bonnie produced an Esprit Award-winning event and was part of a team nominated again the following year. In 2000, her talents were recognized with a Special Events Magazine Gala Award Nomination for Best Corporate Event Production. Bonnie earned her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) accreditation in 1995. She is an active member of the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau, Meeting Professionals International, International Special Events Society, and the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. She has also served on the board of Chicago Women In Hospitality.

On the agancy side, her skills have been put to use as a Marketing Strategist guiding various clients in overall marketing efforts and strategic brand initiatives including consumer and trade promotions, event marketing campaigns and incentive programs.
