Bonnie Hansen Rybicki is the founder of THE CUSTOM EVENT. She is a twenty-year veteran in the meeting and event production industry. Bonnie has utilized her creative background and vast resources to produce stunning live event platforms including business theatre, themed events and interactive entertainment.  Her many repeat clients have noted her attention to detail and intriguing conceptual designs.

Bonnie has been fortunate to lead teams winning an  Esprit Award and nominated for a Special Events Magazine Gala Award for Best Corporate Event Production. Bonnie earned her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) accreditation in 1995. She has been an active member of the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau, Meeting Professionals International, International Special Events Society, the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International and Chicago Women In Hospitality.

As an industry veteran, Diane has developed a unique combination of corporate and agency experience.  She has accumulated broad resources as an executive within Fortune 500 companies where she was responsible for the development of marketing communication programs coinciding with major product and brand launches.  On the agancy side, her skills have been put to use as a Marketing Strategist guiding various clients in overall marketing efforts and strategic brand initiatives including consumer and trade promotions, event marketing campaigns and incentive programs.
