Bonnie Hansen, CMP

Bonnie Hansen is the founder of THE CUSTOM EVENT. She is a veteran in the meeting and event production industry. Bonnie has utilized her creative background and vast resources to produce stunning live event platforms including business theatre, themed events and interactive entertainment.  Her many repeat clients have noted her attention to detail and intriguing conceptual designs.

Bonnie has been fortunate to lead teams winning an Esprit Award and nominated for a Special Events Magazine Gala Award for Best Corporate Event Production. Bonnie earned her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) accreditation in 1995. She has been an active member of the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau, Meeting Professionals International, International Special Events Society, the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International and Chicago Women In Hospitality.

"Experiential Marketing is still on the rise," says Bonnie.  "Believe it or not - the current, most growing segment of the marketing dollar spent is LIVE EVENT PRODUCTION.  We still need to stage personal, face-to-face encounters.  Now, more than ever, our work has to affect the senses in order to engage our media weary audiences."
